We will be taking advantage of the Melbourne cup public holiday by having an unofficial long weekend so will be closed on Monday, November 6th and Tuesday 7th.
Did you know...
Melbourne Cup day was not always a public holiday? In fact, it was first on a Thursday in 1861 and was moved to the first Tuesday of the month and declared a public holiday in 1875 to coincide with the birthday of the Prince of Wales. It has grown into the biggest sporting event in Australia and attracts horses and spectators from all over the world.
